Description

All six episodes from the first series of the rebooted satirical Whitehall comedy. This time around, Prime Minister Jim Hacker (David Haig) faces some of his sternest tests as he tries to deal with the worsening ecomomic crisis, a challenge to his leadership and a Scottish independence referendum. Needless to say, 'help' is at hand in the shape of scheming Cabinet Secretary Sir Humphrey Appleby (Henry Goodman), the Whitehall mandarin who is only too happy to pull Hacker's strings to further his own agenda.
