Description

Documentary about the life of the celebrated French fashion designer. Yves Saint Laurent was born in French Algeria and moved to Paris as a teenager, where he was to become an iconic figure in worldwide fashion with his innovative designs. Interspersing archive footage of interviews with Saint Laurent himself, extracts from his memoirs (read by Jeanne Moreau) and footage of the designer working on a collection in 1994, this documentary aims to shed new light on the man behind some of the defining trends in modern fashion.
