Description

Documentary highlighting the work of LA-based TV station the Z Channel, champion of neglected

film genres in the early 1980s. While examining the major influence the cable channel achieved within the industry, the film also focuses on the station's creator and driving force Jerry Harvey, a film fanatic, whose life came to mirror the station's frenetic existence. Giants of the industry including Quentin Tarantino, Robert Altman and Jim Jarmusch recall their experiences of dealing with Harvey, combining to paint a compelling portrait of a film obsessive.
