Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is out today, and it promises to be the best edition yet. Which is no mean feat, considering it's the 12th game in the series!

Black Ops 3 takes place in a future where mankind has been enhanced by technology, and the line between man and machine has been blurred. Air combat is a distant memory, with most wars fought by super soldiers.

Unsurprisingly, you play as one of these super soldiers as he/she (you can pick the gender of your character) fights alongside fellow Black Ops operatives. For the first time, the campaign has been designed to be played either alone or with up to 3 other people.

Zombies is also making a triumphant return, with one mission in particular featuring an all star cast. Shadows of Evil stars Jeff Goldblum, Heather Graham, Neal McDonough and Ron Perlman as they battle for survival in the fictional Morg City (see what they did there?). Bagsy playing as Goldblum.

The real highlight, as always, is multiplayer. All of our favourite modes are returning, with new maps and a few new features thrown into the mix. Players will now have thruster packs and the ability to wall run and slide, adding a new dimension to the classic COD gameplay. Meanwhile, Specialists will allow you to pick from one of 9 character types, each with a weapon or ability unique to them.
