2017 marked the 10 year anniversary of the iPhone and Apple launched a very special device to celebrate.
For months, no-one knew what it was called. Thanks to a leak, however, we found out it was called the iPhone X and not the iPhone 8 as most people assumed.
The iPhone X features a 5.8 inch edge-to-edge AMOLED screen covering the device’s entire front panel, with Touch ID replaced by Face ID. To facilitate the technology required for Face ID, Apple introduced the infamous 'notch' - once controversial, but now a relatively common feature on new smartphones.
The iPhone X also has an all glass design, replacing the aluminium build of the previous few models. This allowed for the introduction of wireless charging, a feature high on many Apple fanatics’ wish lists.
