Condition Specifications

iMacs

Good:

  • All parts of the device (including system software) are fully functional.
  • Powers on, does not overheat and displays an image
  • No missing internal parts (RAM, HDD, SSD, etc.)
  • Working power supply without exposed leads included
  • No more than light wear and tear (no cracks, water damage or damage to screen)
  • No cracks and only minimal wear and tear
  • All ports work (HDMI and USB etc.)
  • No dead pixels on screen and backlight fully working

Poor:

  • All parts of the device (including system software) are fully functional.
  • Powers on, does not overheat and displays an image
  • No missing internal parts (RAM, HDD, SSD, etc.)
  • Missing power supply
  • Heavy wear and tear/scratches/dents on casing
  • No cracks
  • All ports work (HDMI and USB etc.)
  • No dead pixels on screen and backlight fully working

Faulty:

  • Not fully functional (i.e parts not working or system software fails to load)
  • Does not power on or overheats
  • Liquid damage
  • Faulty screen (dead pixels, flashing screen, backlight not working properly)
  • Smashed or heavy wear to screen (delamination of protective coating)
  • Missing or faulty internal parts (RAM, HDD, SSD, etc.)
  • Faulty Ports (HDMI and USB etc.)
  • BIOS or power on password (note this is not a password to get into Mac OS)
