How to add musicMagpie to your safe senders list

We send loads of great stuff via email: offers, top traded lists, the pick of our blog content, competitions and much more.

Occasionally, though, our emails might not get to you as we intended. You might not be able to see all of the images, or it might land in your spam folder.

Luckily, most of these issues can be fixed by adding us to your Safe Senders list. Here’s a quick walkthrough for all of the major email providers (drop us a comment if we’ve missed your provider and we’ll update the post!).

Windows Live Hotmail

● Open any musicMagpie email

● Click on the ‘Wait, it’s safe!’ link at the top of the message

● Open a musicMagpie email

● Click ‘display all images’


● Click on the drop down menu (the small arrow) in the top right corner

● Select ‘Add musicMagpie to Contacts list’

Gmail 2

● Open any musicMagpie email

● Highlight the sender’s name at the top of the email

● Select ‘add to contacts’ from the drop down menu

BT Internet

● Select the ‘Safe Senders’ folder from the ‘Settings’ tab

● Click the ‘add’ button

● Enter [email protected] into the ‘Address’ field and click ‘Save’.


● Open an email from us

● Click ‘display all images’

● Select ‘Add musicMagpie to Contacts list’ from the drop down menu in the top right corner.


● Open any musicMagpie email

● Click the ‘add address’ icon and verify our address

● Save

Virgin Media/NTL World

● Go to ‘Tools’ and select ‘Options’

● Under ‘Preferences’, go to ‘Email’ and click ‘Junk Email’

● Go to ‘Safe Senders’ and click ‘Add’

● In the ‘Enter a domain to be added to the list’ field, type [email protected] and click ‘OK’


● Open any musicMagpie email

● Click our contact name in the email header

● Verify the contact details and click ‘save’.

Talk Talk

● Drag any musicMagpie email you receive into your ‘spam’ folder into your ‘inbox’. This should remove any spam settings and ensure all of our emails land in your inbox.

Microsoft Outlook

● Go to the ‘Home’ tab and click ‘Junk’. You’ll find it next to the ‘Delete’ button.

● From the drop-down menu, choose ‘Junk E-mail Options’ then click on the ‘Safe Senders’ tab.

● Click ‘Add’ and enter [email protected] Click ‘OK’ to complete the process.
