Robert Downey Jr. is returning for Avengers 4
Robert Downey Jr. has taken to Instagram to confirm his role the fourth Avengers film.
Tony Stark will be back in the currently untitled film, slated for release in May 2019.
The third instalment of the Avengers franchise is due to hit our screens in May 2018, following on from the huge successes of 2012's The Avengers and the 2015 sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron.
In the social media post, Downey's Tony Stark chair sits alongside Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) and Steve Rogers (Chris Evans).
We can't wait for this release!
