National Television Awards announced

Nominations for the 2019 National Television Awards have been announced.

Hot off his Golden Globes win, Richard Madden is up for Drama Performance as Sergeant David Budd in Bodyguard. Madden has stiff competition from Jodie Whittaker, as she became the first woman to play Doctor Who in 2018.

Ant & Dec are up for the presenting gong yet again, having won a staggering 17 presenting NTAs to date. Holly Willoughby, who took on Ant’s role to present I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! alongside Dec back in November, is also up for TV Presenter. I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is in the running for The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award.

The awards will take place on January 22.
