The Favourite wins big at the BAFTAs

Box office hit The Favourite swept up seven awards at the BAFTAs, including Best Costume Design, Best Original Screenplay and Best Makeup and Hair.

Both Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress were awarded to The Favourite, for Olivia Colman and Rachel Weisz respectively.

Hotly tipped Roma took home two of the night's biggest awards – Best Film and Best Director for Alfonso Cuarón.

Rami Malek beat out fierce competition to walk away with the BAFTA for Best Actor, for his role as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody.
