Love them or love to hate them, keep reading to find out our best movie soundtracks and see if any of yours have made our list!

In this blog:

Barbie

Not only has Barbie smashed Box Office records, but the Barbie movie soundtrack became one of the most popular albums of the summer! Unfortunately, it doesn't include Barbie Girl by Aqua… we're talking about Billie Eilish, Ken himself (Ryan Gosling), Lizzo, Sam Smith, Dual Lipa and so many more.

So if you can't get enough of songs like I'm Just Ken, Pink and Dance the Night, we highly suggest adding the Barbie movie soundtrack to your playlist!

Top Gun

In our eyes, both Top Gun soundtracks without a doubt deserve a place on this list. Where do we even start? The original includes all-time favourites such as Danger Zone by Kenny Logins, Take My Breath Away by Berlin and how can we forget… Great Balls of Fire by Jerry Lee Lewis.

We're not finished yet! Top Gun: Maverick even includes brand new tracks such as Hold My Hand by Lady Gaga which rolls into the credits and I Ain't Worried by One Republic, as well as a few original favourites from the first movie.

The Greatest Showman

If you haven't already watched The Greatest Showman, make sure to put it on your watch list AND playlist as soon as you've finished reading! Set in the 19th century about the start-up of a circus, the soundtrack to this musical is filled with banger after banger. Even if you're not a fan of musicals, you can't help but sing along to songs like This is Me, From Now On, Rewrite the Stars and, of course, The Greatest Show.

Baby Driver

If you're looking for the best songs to listen to on a drive (or a high-speed chase) the soundtrack for Baby Driver is undeniably a great addition to your playlist. Combined with songs from different eras, sit back, put your foot on the accelerator and listen to artists such as Queen, Blur, T-Rex, Simon & Garfunkel and many more.

The Lion King

You can always rely on a Disney film for the best songs and The Lion King soundtrack is no exception. Released in 1994, it is classed as one of the all-time best Disney soundtracks and we can't argue with that! Songs like Circle of Life, I Just Can't Wait to Be King, Hakuna Matata and Can You Feel the Love Tonight, are treasured by all ages and we're not embarrassed to say we know every word!

Pulp Fiction

You may be surprised to hear that Quentin Tarantino's 1994 hit has its own soundtrack… but it does. The Pulp Fiction soundtrack has a mixture of everything, from American rock and roll to pop, so if you're not sure what you fancy, stick it on and listen to a plethora of tunes. Sing along to Son of a Preacher Man, Lonesome Town, Let's Stay Together and many more.

The Super Mario Bros Movie

We never thought we would love the movie as much as the game, but guess what? We love the soundtrack even more. The beloved video game characters are brought to life in this animation and the Super Mario Bros Movie soundtrack is a mixture of the character's own songs, as well as classics we already know.

Look forward to Bowser singing Peaches, Donkey Kong performing the DK rap, as well as classics such as Thunderstruck by AC/DC and Holding Out For a Hero by Bonnie Tyler. It's the soundtrack you didn't know you needed!

Rocketman

Calling all Elton John fans! Listen to the hits from the musical Rocketman, including classics such as Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting, Tiny Dancer, Your Song, and I'm Still Standing… we can go on and on.

But there's a catch! They're all sung by the actors in the film, so the majority of the soundtrack is covered by Taron Egerton who plays Elton and I Want Love is covered by Bryce Dallas Howard, Kit Connor, Gemma Jones and Steven Mackintosh.

Moana

Disney worked their magic again and produced another incredible soundtrack. The Moana soundtrack includes one of the most popular songs from the movie, You're Welcome, sung by Dwayne Johnson. We also can't ignore How Far I'll Go, which was nominated for an Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Original Song. Brighten up your day by adding the Moana Soundtrack to your playlist… you're welcome!

A Star is Born

This soundtrack will have you tapping into all different emotions. From happy to sad, Lady Gaga will have you crying one minute and singing your heart out the next. A Star is Born the soundtrack has had amazing success worldwide and it's not surprising! Shallow, I'll Never Love Again, and La Vie En Rose are just a few that make this soundtrack incredible.
