iPhone 6s set for record opening weekend sales
Apple claims the iPhone 6s is on course to break the opening weekend sales record set by last year's iPhone 6, which sold 10 million in its first 3 days.
Pre-orders for Apple's latest device began last Friday but sales have been strong enough to convince Apple this will be a record-breaking phone. The initial online stock of the iPhone 6s Plus has sold out already, while both models have completely sold out online in China.
Both models will be available from the Apple Store on the 25th September, although you may to brave the legendary queues to get your hands on one. Get your sleeping bag ready…
While it looks the same as last year's iPhone 6, the iPhone 6s boasts a number of new features including 3D Touch, which performs actions based on how hard you press, a new 12 megapixel camera and a high performance A9 chip.
