2019 Oscar nominees announced

The nominees for the 91st Academy Awards have been announced. Both The Favourite and Roma lead the pack with 10 nominations apiece.

Not far behind, with eight nominations under their belts are Bradley Cooper's directorial debut A Star is Born alongside Vice, the story of Dick Cheney on his rise to becoming the most powerful Vice President in US history.

Both Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper are up for Best Actress and Best Actor consecutively for A Star is Born, but Cooper missed out on the Best Director nod.
