According to the Official Charts Company, 1 in 5 British households have purchased a copy of Gold; it’s no wonder we receive so many copies.

Up All Night ”“ One Direction

The X Factor has returned to our screens with one purpose: find the next One Direction. Maybe fans are clearing space in their collections for the next big boyband. Also, they look really, really young on the cover.

+ – Ed Sheeran

Since releasing +, Ed Sheeran has moved to America, worked with Pharrell and topped the charts with his second album X. + sounds a bit dreary by comparison.

Unapologetic ”“ Rihanna

Science has proven that you’re more likely to see a picture of Rihanna naked than you are to see one of her fully clothed. How about wearing a nice frock and a nice hat on your next front cover, Ri Ri?

Now That’s What I Call Music! 84

Ah, 2013. Remember that? You should do, it was only a year ago. Anyway, this CD compiles some of the ”˜best’ of that year, including tracks by Kesha, James Arthur and…erm, the Saturdays and Sean Paul. Might be a year to forget, on second thoughts.

The Marshall Mathers LP ”“ Eminem

Listening to this album is like being trapped in a lift with a chainsaw-wielding maniac who happens to love a catchy beat, which explains why we get quite a few copies through our door.

(What’s The Story) Morning Glory ”“ Oasis

We spent the whole summer hoping that Liam and Noel would put their differences aside to headline a festival. Instead, Liam did an ice bucket challenge and Noel…well, we’re not sure what he did. A nice holiday, perhaps?

Greatest Hits ”“ Red Hot Chili Peppers

It’s definitely better to sell this to us than give it away, give it away, give it away now *grabs coat, leaves hastily through nearest exit*.

Mylo Xyloto ”“ Coldplay

Most of the copies of Mylo Xyloto we’ve received over the past couple of weeks have come from the UK branch of the Jennifer Lawrence fan club. Strange, eh?

We can only assume people have finally figured out what Sex On Fire is actually about and sold this in disgust.
