Rumoured iPhone 16 colours

There has been a mix of leaks regarding the iPhone 16 colours. One rumour suggests that the iPhone 16 range will be available in seven different colours, including blue, pink, yellow, green, white, purple and black. However, another rumour suggests that an additional red model could be making an appearance too.

One iPhone 16 rumour is said to have been leaked by an Apple employee and contradicts the claim of seven colours. Instead, it is suggested that there will be only five colour options: black, green, pink, blue and white. This iPhone 16 rumour excludes the idea of a purple and yellow colourway, which is a shame as there hasn’t been a purple iPhone since the iPhone 14.

Rumoured iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max colours

Like all previous releases, the iPhone 16 colours will most likely be different for the Pro and Pro Max models. One of the iPhone 16 rumours suggests that the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max colours are expected to be more professional and subdued.

This iPhone 16 rumour states that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models will come in rose, desert yellow, grey, space black and white colours. However, another rumour suggests something similar but slightly different – graphite/space black, silver, white and rose. There is a lot of buzz surrounding the alleged rose colour, as it hasn’t featured on a Pro model before, so if the rumours are true and Apple does release it, it could become a fast fan favourite.

How do the iPhone 16 colours compare to the iPhone 15 colours?

The rumoured colourways of the iPhone 16 are very similar to that of the iPhone 15. Both feature a pink, blue, green and black. If the iPhone 16 rumours turn out to be true, this list will also include a yellow, making both colour palettes very similar. Hopefully, Apple will include purple and white to add a bit of distinction between the two series colours.

The iPhone 16 models are expected to follow in the footsteps of the iPhone 15 design featuring the same colour-infused glass back. According to rumours, the new iPhone 16 will feature a frosted effect on the rear layer of glass, which will contrast with the colour of the main frame. Apparently, for the Pro and Pro Max models, Apple could return to the usual glossy or matte colour finishes as opposed to the metallic titanium finishes of the iPhone 15.
