The Surprisingly Easy App of the Week: Snowball
We try our best to find something for everybody with our weekly Surprisingly Easy App of the Week, but sometimes we stumble across an exclusive app that's so good that we can't help but cover it. With that out of the way, let's check out the topically-named Snowball, an app that rolls all of your incoming messages into one.
What is it?
Snowball displays all of the messages you receive in one, easy-to-use app. That includes text messages, Facebook, WhatsApp, Snapchat, Twitter, Skype, Google Hangouts and more.
Why is it surprisingly easy?
Keeping on top of all the messages you receive across the ridiculous amount of messaging apps is nigh-on impossible. Having all of them in one place allows you to decide what's important and what can wait – and ensure that you don't miss anything important too.
The best bit
All of your messages are in one handy inbox, and you can open the app from wherever you are on your phone as you get a Facebook-esque "˜chathead' letting you know when you've got a new message.
It's pretty easy to set up too!
The downside
You won't have an excuse for ignoring messages from people. If you hate chathead notifications (as a lot of people do), you'll have to open the app to view your messages. Also, it's pretty hard to break out of the habit of checking each service at first.
