The iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max were officially released in the UK on the 16th of September 2022, and the iPhone 14 Plus was released slightly later on the 7th of October 2022. 

One of the main changes to the iPhone 14 series was the discontinuation of the Mini series and the introduction of a Plus version. iPhone 14 Plus users can enjoy a bigger screen and upgraded features, without paying the higher prices of the Pro models. 

However, with that said, there was a jump in UK pricing for the iPhone 14 series release compared to last year's iPhone 13 RRP. While both the iPhone 13 and 14 ranges offer the same storage options, each iPhone 14 model retailed at £100 more.

iPhone 14

Apple upgraded the features of the iPhone 14 slightly when compared to the iPhone 13, making it more powerful. If you choose to upgrade to the iPhone 14, you can expect a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display and the 12MP main sensor is larger. Apple also introduced satellite connectivity, a new addition to the iPhone and is the first smartphone to offer this feature. 

It has the same A15 Bionic chipset as the iPhone 13, but it has had improvements made to it so it's faster. You can even choose from five colours: Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Purple and (Product) Red.

iPhone 14 Plus

The iPhone 14 Plus replaced the previous iPhone Mini and joined the iPhone 14 as an 'affordable' flagship iPhone. iPhone 14 Pro
