In this blog:

Galaxy S10

Starting with the Samsung Galaxy S10, you’ll find an Infinity-O display with a fairly unobtrusive hole punch on the top right corner where the front-facing camera lives. The Samsung S10 has a 6.1-inch, quad-HD panel Dynamic AMOLED screen with curved sides.

In terms of dimensions, the Samsung S10 has a height of 149.9mm, a width of 70.4mm, a depth of 7.8mm and weighs 157g. The Galaxy S10 comes in the colours Prism Black, Prism White, and Prism Green.

One feature you’ll find on the Samsung S10 is an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that’s embedded in the display. Unlike optical fingerprint sensors, the ultrasonic sensor creates a 3D contour of your finger, making it slightly more accurate.

Want to know what the Samsung S10 specs are for both the front-facing and rear cameras? The Samsung S10 has a triple rear camera consisting of a 12MP telephoto lens with a 2x zoom and OIS anti-blur software, a 12MP wide angle lens with dual aperture, dual pixel and built-in Optical Image Stabilisation software, and a 16MP ultra wide angle lens. On the front is a single 10MP dual pixel camera with auto focus and UHD selfie technology.

The S10 features a 3,400 mAh battery and sports Samsung’s PowerShare feature, which allows users to charge other compatible devices such as phones and the Galaxy Buds wirelessly.

Galaxy S10e

The smallest of the S10 range is the Samsung Galaxy S10e. This model offers a 5.8-inch Dynamic full-HD AMOLED display with a small hole punch in the top right corner.

Unlike the rest of the S10 range, the S10e is completely flat, so no curved edges on the sides of this display. The dimensions of the Galaxy S10e are 142.2 x 69.9 x 7.9mm and the model weighs 150g.

You can purchase the Samsung S10e in multiple colours including Prism Black, Prism White and Prism Green, plus an exclusive Canary Yellow colour.

Unfortunately, the Galaxy S10e lacks an in-screen fingerprint reader. Instead, you’ll find the sensor on the power button on the side of the phone.

The Galaxy S10e has a single front camera which features a 10MP dual pixel auto focus and UHD selfie technology, while the rear camera setup offers a 12MP wide angle lens with dual aperture, dual pixel and in-built Optical Image Stabilisation software and a 16MP wide angle lens.

As this model is the smallest of the bunch, it won’t be a surprise to hear that the S10e’s battery is also the smallest at 3,100 mAh.

Galaxy S10 5G

Next up is the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G. If you think this model is simply the Samsung S10 with added 5G technology, you’d be very mistaken.

If you compare Samsung S10 to the Galaxy S10 5G, you’ll see that the 5G model is a lot bigger – in fact, the Galaxy S10 5G is the biggest out of all the models (yep, even the S10 Plus model). The S10 5G weighs 198g and has dimensions of 162.6 x 77.1 x 7.9 mm.

You’ll find a 6.7-inch Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED display with a slightly larger hole punch in the top right corner to make up for the dual front-facing camera setup. Like the other S10 models (with the exception of the S10e), the Samsung S10 5G has curved edges on the sides of the device.

The Galaxy S10 5G is available in a variety of colours, but the options do differ depending on the storage size of the model you choose. The 8GB/256GB model is available in Majestic Black, Crown Silver, and Royal Gold colours, while the 8GB/512GB model is only available in Crown Silver and Majestic Black.

You’ll get the same camera setup on the S10 5G as you would on the S10 and S10 Plus models but with an added 3D depth camera. This means that you’ll get a main 12-megapixel camera, a 12-megapixel telephoto camera and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera that can offer 0.5 to 2x zoom, along with a 10x hybrid zoom.

As for the front of the display, you’ll find a 10MP selfie cam with an f/1.9 aperture and autofocus. This model also has an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor embedded in the display and a 4,500 mAh battery with PowerShare.

Galaxy S10 Lite

The Galaxy S10 Lite is Samsung’s newest S10 model that was released a whole year after the other S10 models.

While the Samsung S10 Lite has the same sized display as the S10 5G, it’s overall slightly smaller (although it is thicker). The Galaxy S10 Lite has a 6.7-inch full-HD Super AMOLED Plus Infinty-O display and measures 162.5mm in height, 75.6mm in width, 8.1mm in depth and weighs 186g.

The S10 Lite strays from the standard S10 design as it has an elegant 3D Glasstic design that comes in Prism Black, Prism White and Prism Blue. Another design change the S10 Lite has is the punch hole where the front-facing camera sits is directly in the centre of the top of the display.

The Samsung S10 Lite has a 48MP main wide-angle camera, a 12MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 5MP macro lens on the rear of the device. On the front, you’ll find a 32 MP front selfie camera. You can find an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the S10 Lite and an impressive 4,500 mAh battery.

Galaxy S10 Plus

The Galaxy S10 Plus has the same Infinity-O Dymanic AMOLED display design as the S10 and S10 5G models, with the same-sized hole punch as the S10 5G. Surprisingly, the Galaxy S10 Plus only has a 6.4-inch, quad-HD screen – that’s 0.3 inches smaller than the S10 5G’s display.

The S10 Plus stands out from the rest of the S10 models as it’s the only model to come in ceramic finishes. You can get the Galaxy S10 Plus in Prism Black, Prism White, Prism Green, and two exclusive colours: Ceramic White and Ceramic Black.

The dimensions of the Galaxy S10 Plus are 157.6 x 74.1 x 7.8mm, but the weight of this device depends on the model you buy. If you opt for one of the ceramic models, it will weigh 198g, whereas the standard S10 Plus models weigh approximately 175g.

For those wondering about the camera specs on the Galaxy S10 Plus, you’ll be glad to note that this model offers a dual front camera system that uses a 10MP dual pixel auto focus lens which includes UHD selfie technology and an 8MP lens.

On the rear of the S10 Plus, you’ll find a 12MP telephoto lens with a 2x zoom and OIS anti-blur software, a 12MP wide angle lens with dual aperture, dual pixel and built-in Optical Image Stabilisation software, and a 16MP ultra wide angle lens.

Along with the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that Samsung has placed in all of the S10 models, the Galaxy S10 Plus boasts a sizeable 4,100 mAh battery.
