- Bigger display
- Capture button
- New colour option
- Improved camera zoom
- A18 Pro chip

Bigger display
iPhone 16 Pro rumours suggest that both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be even bigger than their predecessors.
If the rumours are true, the iPhone 16 Pro will have a screen size of 6.3 inches and the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a screen size of 6.9 inches. For reference, the iPhone 15 Pro had a display size of 6.1 inches and the iPhone 15 Pro Max had a screen size of 6.7 inches.
Capture button
A leaked CAD render from 91mobiles is making the rounds, showcasing the addition of a new button specifically for capturing photos when using the camera.
The Capture button will work just like the shutter button and will be able to detect multiple levels of pressure for focusing and then capturing an image. This new button will be located at the bottom of the right side of the 16 models so it’s easy to use while capturing photos in landscape orientation
While this feature will allegedly be added to all the models in the iPhone 16 range, it’s still a cool feature for iPhone 16 Pro users to look forward to.
New colour option
This year, we could see a new addition to the usual iPhone Pro colour lineup. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted a new rose option for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max which will replace last year’s blue option. The full rumoured iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max colours are space black, white (or silver), grey and rose.
Improved camera zoom
Curious about what the new features the iPhone 16 Pro camera has in store for us? Rumours suggest that both the iPhone 16 Pro might feature 5x telephoto lenses, an upgrade previously exclusive to the Pro Max model. Reports also suggest that the iPhone 16 Pro could feature an enhanced 48-megapixel Ultra Wide lens for even better low-light photography.
A18 Pro chip
We usually see a new chipset for the Pro and Pro Max iPhone models and this year seems to be no different. iPhone 16 Pro leaks claim that both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will boast an upgraded A18 Bionic Pro chip.
It’s said that the A18 Bionic Pro chip could feature an upgraded Neural Engine with more cores, allowing for new and improved AI features.
It’s worth noting that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are said to use the regular A18 chipset, so there will be a difference in performance despite the models technically sharing the same A18 processor.
2TB storage option
If you’re regularly maxing out your storage on your Pro model, you’ll be glad to hear that there are a few iPhone 16 Pro Max rumours which suggest that both the Pro and Pro Max models could come with a new 2TB option. If true, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models would come with 8GB of RAM with 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB options.
