Initial iPhone 15 leaks suggested that red was a guaranteed colour for the iPhone 15 series, but since the iPhone 15 launch, we're yet to see a single drop of red on the models. But why has Apple ditched the famous Product (Red) colour line? Keep reading to find out!

Why are there no red iPhone 15 models?

Although iPhone 15 rumours suggested there would be a Product (Red) colour within the range, both the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro models launched without a red option. Apple hasn't revealed why there were no red models or if they'll be released later down the line. This comes as a shock, considering Apple has offered Product (Red) models for every iPhone series since the iPhone XR in 2018.

Some claim that Apple will release the red option later in the year, however, Apple hosted the Let Loose Event in May 2024 where new iPad models and accessories were announced, so it's safe to assume that a red iPhone 15 option would have been announced at the event.

While you can't get your hands on a Product (Red) iPhone 15 or 15 Plus, the range still offers a great range of pastel colours.

The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max are made from titanium, so these colours are a lot more muted than the regular 15 range.
